DanceFriends
DanceFriends is a free dance instruction program, combined with journal writing. Students learn different types of dance, such as hip hope and jazz, and then write about what they learned in a journal. DanceFriends was founded by former student board member, Leah Palacios, then a member of her high school's Varsity Song team, and was continued by other student board members, Tori Marquez, Caitlyn Barresi, Kristen Cooney, Claire Easton, Olivia Spaulding, and Ananya Chaudhari.
This program is held at the San Pedro Boys & Girls Club and the Port of LA Boys & Girls Club. |
