STEMFriends
STEMFriends is a free engineering and science program. STEMFriends was founded by student board member Taylor Hulahan, then a student at the California Academy of Math & Science, as a workshop at Cal State Dominguez Hills. It was expanded into a two-week summer camp by another student board member, Leonora Meroth, from Palos Verdes High and held at the Wilmington Boys & Girls Club. The summer programs were continued by student board members Hana Meroth at Wilmington Boys & Girls Club and Ted Lin at the Port of LA Boys & Girls Club. It has been continued the past two years at the Wilmington Boys & Girls Club by Palos Verdes Peninsula High School student Ronjini Chatterjee.
